Dreamzone’s Café Design Masterclass is a 3-hour hands-on workshop for professionals and enthusiasts looking to master café space planning and design execution.

Led by expert interior designers, it blends theory, interactive activities, and model-making for a real-world learning experience. The session concludes with a jury-reviewed presentation for expert feedback.

Introduction & Presentation

Explore café design essentials - spatial planning, lighting, acoustics & branding.

Concept & Planning (2 -3 members per team)

Develop unique café themes, floor plans, flow mapping, zoning, & mood boards.

Model Making

Create tangible café layouts using prefabricated materials.

Design Review & Refinement

Mid-review session at 1.5 hours for expert feedback and improvement.

Final Presentation

Facilitator

Ar. Meenakshi

An architect and educator, Meenakshi combines design, planning, and entrepreneurship with a global outlook. A graduate of Anna University with a Master’s in Urban Planning from France, her journey includes an internship with BV Doshi and work in healthcare design in Singapore. She co-founded a residential design practice in Chennai and has been a visiting faculty at the School of Architecture and Planning for over four years. Her current focus is on interior design and a venture in children’s furniture and experiential spaces, reflecting her passion for creating thoughtful, functional environments. Outside the studio, Meenakshi finds joy in music, travel, and exploring the intersections of design and daily life.
