DreamZone School of Creative Skills Opens Its 100th Centre

Wins Brand Academy’s Fast Emerging IT-Enabled Creative Training Institute of the Year - 2017 Award

The Chennai-based DreamZone, a creative skills institute from the CADD Centre Group, has crossed the 100-centre mark by opening a franchise centre at Kolkata (???). Started in 2005, DreamZone has been achieving a double digit growth on the success of its franchise business and overwhelming response for its creative skills training in architecture & interior design, fashion design, jewellery design, web design and animation, .

The institute has recently won the “Fast Emerging IT-Enabled Creative Training Institute of the Year - 2017”, a prestigious award instituted by Brands Academy, a brand management & consulting company.

Commenting about crossing the new milestone, Mr S Karaiadiselvan, Managing Director, said that DreamZone is at the inflection point of exponential growth, thanks to the increasing demand for the creative professionals in India, as the country emerges as a design hub in textiles, product design, animation, and building design.  “We are planning to cross the 200-centre mark by 2020 with the presence across India and select foreign countries where the institute is partnering with government agencies for creative skill development,” he said.

Mr Selvan added that DreamZone trains 5,000 professionals every year through its 100 centres, currently located in major cities and towns of India.

“The demand for quality creative skills training is rising, as the traditional employment opportunities are fast dwindling. Across the board, designing is emerging as a premium skill. As DreamZone offers a wide range of quality courses and offers industry recognized certificates, we are able to attract students and working professionals,” Mr Selvan said.

Another unique strength of DreamZone is the opportunities it creates for the students to network with and learn from industry professionals by organising events. DreamZone’s events such as Vibes 360 and Anigra have become not-to-miss events in the industry.

DreamZone takes the industry along during all stages of training services - right from developing courses to student assessments to placements. It works with expert professionals and their organizations, and are formally associated with reputed professional bodies like The International Council of Design (ico-D), formerly known as Icograda, a world organisation for design professionals; ASIFA-Hollywood, the American arm of International Animated Film Association; Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), and Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID).

On winning the Brand Academy award, Mr Selvan said that DreamZone was adjudged the winner by Brands Academy going by the results of market research, conducted by an independent agency, and after taking into account the criteria such as infrastructure, faculty strength, placements, annual growth, students testimonials, and feedback from the industry.

DreamZone forayed into franchising in 2009 with its no-royalty-fee franchising. A win win for franchisor and the franchise, its model enjoys over 95% success rate. It has also won Best Franchising Concept of the Year Award (2011) from Franchise India Holdings.
