ANIGRA - A Student Film Festival to Encourage Young Film Makers To encourage the spirit of capturing moments in the camera lens, DreamZone provides an amazing opportunity for all its students to showcase their talents and open new career doors. ANIGRA is a short film contest held annually for the DreamZone students across India enrolled in Animation and Graphics courses. For this contest, students are expected to shoot an AV short film or an ad film which will be screened and evaluated on the grounds of best Direction, Script Writing, Camera Techniques, Special Effects and Editing. Not merely providing a platform to showcase their talents, ANIGRA praises talented students by invaluable prizes of networking access meetings. We accept the following entries for ANIGRA The entries should be Live Action films. For categories 1 and 3:

• Animation should not cover majority of the film
• Digital Tools should be used-Digital tools - Maya, 3D Studio Max, After Effects, and Sound Forge.

For Film/ Ads/ PSA.

Only registered student of DreamZone or a less than 2-year alumni can participate. They must send a copy of the Student ID card. Only for PG Diploma, Master Diploma, and Diploma in Movie Editing and Compositing. One can register and participate in all of the 3 categories. The story line is first approved by us, then only can be proceeded. Only one student who has registered in "Director's Name" will be considered as the sole director of the Film. The registration closes on 20th June, 2018. Audio file format must be a wave with 5.1 outputs. We required Aadhar Card Number ( For Censor certificate purpose).

Films subjected to pornography/ explicit sexual or violent nature or anything defamatory or racial prejudice or incomplete or altered will be rejected. Films that have received television play or published on the internet orcommercial theatrical play out in India are not allowed. DreamZone is not responsible for violation of any intellectual property by any entrant. Entire content(including the music) should be original.Any music that is used in the film must be either originally composed royalty free or necessary should have obtained the permission of the owner of the content in writing to use the same. Complete cost of film production will be borne by the applicant.

Submission Guidelines :

• The story line must be sent to us by 25th June 2018, one can proceed with the story line only after the approval from us. Approval is done within 3 days from receiving the story line.
• The film output (MPEG4 format) should reach the corporate office on or before 20th July 2018 for the preliminary round of evaluation.
• If the film reaches us after 20th July 2018, will not be accepted for preliminary round of evaluation.
• Preview material should be properly labeled with- title, running time, screening format with detailed contact information.
• Audio must have matching legible English subtitles.
• Preview material will not be returned. Do not send the master copy until you are notified as it will not be returned. Entries must include a completed, signed, and dated registered form. In the case of more than one producer and director, the form must include details and signatures of all.
• All participants will be informed by emails and telephones only. Therefore, provide accurate contact details with one alternative for each.
• DreamZone is permitted to retain viewing material to publicize the festival and for educational purpose.
• The organizers are not responsible for any loss or damage to films in transit.
• DreamZone is not responsible for the loss/damage occurred to the films in transit. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post or courier.
• If the film is selected, the student will then be asked to provide B&W and colour still photos from the film, press materials, a trailer for use on the Dream Zone website, posters and flyers.

Jury Selection :

• A jury appointed by the DreamZone will choose the winners.
Shortlisted Short Film, Ads and PSA will be screened in the short film festival and the master copy of the same (Hard Disk) should reach us (corporate office) on or before 31st July 2018. The output file for film screening will be in the below mentioned format.

• The film selected for the grand finally will be announced.
• The shortlisted movie, therefore, needs to be converted for projection into MOV format at the real image.
• If the selected film reaches us after the last date i.e.31st July 2018 will not be accepted.
• Movie selected for the grand finally will be announced on or before 10th August 2018.
• The short listed movie to be converted for projection in .MOV format to be done at Real Image.
• The approximate cost either per movie or per Ads or per PSA will be around Rs.5000. However you will be informed about the exact cost for the conversion, on or before 10th August 2018.
• Certificates will be provided based on the role chosen by the participant while registering for the event.
